Alyson L. Hall, MD
Dr. Hall, a New York native, earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from Spelman College. She attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her Ophthalmology residency at the State University of New York at Stonybrook-Nassau County Medical Center and her glaucoma fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Scheie Eye Institute. After her fellowship, Dr. Hall practiced with Glaucoma Eye Care Physicians at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. She served as Director of the glaucoma service at Metropolitan Hospital Center and as Assistant Clinical Professor at New York Medical College.
Throughout her career, Dr. Hall has remained committed to increasing awareness about glaucoma, the leading cause of blindness in African Americans. She has lectured nationally and served as medical director of a glaucoma support group in NYC. She has also participated in numerous clinical trials involving medical therapy for ocular hypertension and glaucoma. Dr. Hall is a frequent lecturer on contemporary medical and surgical treatment options for glaucoma.
Dr. Hall, a board-certified ophthalmologist, has practiced in Maryland since 1998. The Glaucoma Center, P.C., which she founded in 2001, is devoted exclusively to thoughtful, sophisticated glaucoma care with an overriding goal of providing the complete spectrum of medical and surgical care for glaucoma patients.
Judy C. Hu, OD, FAAO
Dr. Judy Hu graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. In 2018, she completed a residency in ocular disease at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where her advanced training emphasized glaucoma diagnosis and management.
Before joining The Glaucoma Center in 2019, Dr. Hu practiced in a multispecialty setting, gaining further experience in glaucoma care. Her philosophy centers on delivering personalized attention and building long-term, trusted relationships with her patients. She is known for her compassionate approach and commitment to advancing glaucoma treatment.
Dr. Hu is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and frequently educates fellow optometrists on glaucoma therapy and new treatment options. She has also served on multiple pharmaceutical advisory boards for new glaucoma drugs.
An active leader in the profession, Dr. Hu is a member of the national Optometric Glaucoma Society and the Maryland Optometric Association (MOA), where she was recognized as Young Optometrist of the Year in 2021 and currently serves as President of MOA’s Anne Arundel County Society.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Hu enjoys being active, traveling, and spending time with her rescue dog, Buddy.
In recognition of her years of dedication and service to the community, Dr. Judy Hu became a partner in the practice in 2025.
Deema Mansour, OD
Dr. Deema Mansour graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2026, she completed a residency in ocular disease with emphasis in glaucoma and low vision at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, where she was able to develop her glaucoma management philosophy that is rooted in evidence-based medicine while delivering personalized and compassionate care.
During optometry school, Dr. Mansour completed clinical externships at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, as well as Hillcrest Vision in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She has served on multiple medical mission trips to Costa Rica and Belize. Dr. Mansour was chosen as a member of the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society for her academic and leadership performance, and is also a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, the American Optometric Association, and the Maryland Optometric Association.
Outside of eyecare, Dr. Mansour enjoys traveling, reading, crocheting, and spending time with friends and family.
